You know how sometimes there are those weeks that start off wonderfully, and somewhere around mid-way through they take a turn for the worse? Yes, that was last week… and it is still continuing. My little guy (who turned a whole 2 years old – yes TWO) got suddenly ill last week, and it was a doozy. He’s supposed to be on the mend, but it has been a tough illness for him to bounce back from, and we're taking yet another trip back to see our Doctor tomorrow. I didn’t want to miss a week of posting on the blog, but also had no way to finalize my recipe testing and food photos with a little one in my arms who I was rocking almost all day long.

I mentioned this to my food blog colleagues and asked them to help me compile a dinner ilst for busy families, they did something amazing – they helped me to create this awesome post that is a complete week-long meal plan for you! Not only does my family have a meal plan for this week now, but so do you!

Below there are six delicious & easy meals, with varying approaches for whatever you need on particular evenings. You have your standard 30 minute meals, slow cooker meals you can simply walk in and eat, and even an awesome sheet pan dinner for when you have a bit more time to cook it, but can walk away and get something else done while it's cooking. Like laundry, or homework, or whatever needs to be taken care of! At the bottom of the post you will find a complete grocery list for all six meals that you can copy & paste, pin, bookmark .. whatever works best for your shopping method.
